Chances are your eating habits are way different from your friends/co-workers/family

Have you told them what you're eating, why you're eating it and when you're eating it ?

You always come up with the best topics for discussion... K to you, my friend... I appreciate the thought that goes into it ;)

I'll have to second what JKurz said. My dad especially thinks I have serious problems. Perhaps that's part of the reason why he won't let me help him... (he's 52, 5'10", 260lbs :worried: )

ashley2212, thanks for the nice words :)

It's always funny when you're sure you've a healthy life style while the others are just are sure you're going to have serious health issues (taking too much protein, eating so much, eating 20+ eggs a day,...)

My family already knows I'm nuts.......telling them anything else would further exaggerate the condition.

Bwahahahaha! I'm in the same boat my friend!

Every time I try to explain it, it just makes it worse...lol!

True, true, true...

Word to that, that's the way things are with my friends that dont lift and try to LIVE healthy. But as far as the faminly goes, my dad was a bodybuilder/NFL player... so I've been around it learning it/living it my whole life so it's 2nd nature... same for my little brother who's in highschool playing the foozball. But, it's all just the facts of life *starts humming theme song*

I just tell them I'm trying to grow. They say "You're big enough" I laugh hysterically and tell them when I gain 40 pounds I'll be big enough

It's difficult to have a serious and objective discussion about that when there are so many stereotypes and false information in the media

yeah and its annoying as hell. My parents are somewhat overweight and they make me so sick sometimes, just eating and eating and I HATE IT. So I gained about 20 lbs in 2 years just from eating whatever, whenever, and I was FED UP. Went to Ballys, the trainers put me on some bs diet. Then I met my current trainer and its chicken and rice all day long. My parents think im crazy cause of the money i spend and how I eat, but I dont think they understand my frusturation. I could fit great into size 32 pants 2 years ago, and now I wear about a 34-36. Im so sick of them getting on me about it. Now im starting to lose though, and they back off a little.
