As men, we encounter a hot woman and think about how we would totally do her. Do women have similar encounters with men? I wonder if women experience the same appearance based sexual attraction as we do.

Probably not... I think in a Psych class I took once they said that while males are visually stimulated (looks matter) chicks dont care about that as much as they do say having a sense of security (money) and self confidence (They dont like whiny saps). Thats textbook though, I'd like to see what some real women have to say on the matter myself.

I've been sexually attracted to and involved with someone that I had no other interest in (relationship wise) but as a lover it worked for both of us.

Yes. There are men that I see and definitely start thinking about what it would be like to have sex with them based upon how sexy they look.
I think the difference is that looks may not be as high on our list of requirements for love and long term relationships as it is on a man's list.
We are human, though. A beautiful man will get us sexually aroused by looks alone, just like it does for men.
