DNP and WOMEN

Is DNP still considered a "no-no" for women who may someday want to have children, or have studies been done to prove otherwise?

I beilieve that for some reason DNP causes cataracs in women..however I don't remember the dosage or the length of cycle that caused it...It must act on a receptor that is present in females but not males. I think there are pleanty of other options for you to get ripped.

The number of women who developed cataracts as a result of DNP exposure was only like 1-2%, if you're citing what I think you're citing.

I wonder how that number compares to the incidence of cataracts in women in the general non-DNP-using population?

Either way, not a good idea. Too much is unknown about its effect on the reproductive system.

Hold up....there was a study? A quality, legit study, wherein women were exposed to DNP, in a controlled environment, and watched for cataract development?

Nix on the study. The cataract argument originated when DNP was a diet pill many years ago, and the aforementioned small number of female takers developed cataracts. I think. Although I'd love to be proven wrong.

Warlobo, would the scrambled eggs lead to a higher incidence of birth defects, or infertility, or both? I'd heard about the birth defects before (DNP is purportedly mutagenic), but read recently on the anabolic board that it was linked to infertility.

This shouldn't even be a discussion. Yeah I know a few have tried this and sure it causes weight loss, but there are plenty of other tried and proven, far safer ways to go.

The "study" was part of the stuff they did like back in the 30's when DNP was being considered as a weightloss supplement. God only knows if the cataracts thing was compared to control group or was statistically significant for the study.

DNP, just like anything else "foreign" that you put in your body or consider putting into your body should really be researched literally ad naseum before making that decision. We've seen plenty of people having problems with the stuff so you are literally your very own guinea pig. I wouldn't fall back on any "published studies" related to DNP because there simply aren't any that would give me a level of confidence going into it.

And W6 is right -- there are, oh, so many better ways to get the same results without any funky sides.
