Its made in the brain, released when we sleep (in REM), die, and maybe some other time. Its what causes dreams, I think.

well obviously there's a critical volume that must be released into the bloodstream otherwise all of us would trip our balls off when we eat dinner tonight. The stuff people come back with after a trip on salvia or this stuff....just simply could not be some random machinations of the brain. I've talked to people who done both acid and stuff like this and they all say acid was just a "trip" whereas this stuff literally took your consciousness "as is" to some other place. Like normal rational conversations take place on the other side.

But I remember reading some years ago that some version of DMT was just nasty, could put you in the schizo house for life if you were'nt careful. I'm too lazy right now to google how synthetic DMT is made, does anybody offhand have an idea?
