How many of you have actually been through a divorce, or who have had parent's that have.

Everyone on both sides of my family are divorced, some more than once. I've been married 5 years, no problems to speak of.

No official divorces for me, although this one time on a boat cruise in a drunken stupor I got married to a appalachian pony over international waters. Luckly I got a annulment though the next morning, its not that she didn't have a great personality but my heart belonged to another more attractive steed. Yes I realize how low that sounds and No I'm not proud of it either.

My parent's were married for 25 years then got a divorce, due to my dads lack of intelligence, now a year later he wants her back....I'v never been married.

My parents divorced after over 30 years of marriage. I don't know how they made it THAT long. My mother was just waiting until my younger sister got married. She had the name of the divorce attorney at my sister's reception!

I was "happily married" for 10 1/2 years until one night my ex hit me. Been trying to divorce his sorry ass for 2 years now... The only reason that I would ever legally remarry is because I will not sleep in one bed with a man under the same roof with my children. I just don't feel it is proper. Otherwise you're looking at a PERMANENT girlfriend. (D
