Distal bicep ligament rupture wtf!!!

Volunteering 4 community service for the habitat for humanity to finish up my community service and i tore my ligament off the bone. i was moving some furniture and slipped on a dolly i didnt see and i heard ir snap. I lift 5x weekly no problem both heavy and light never a problem and this is my dwnffall. Anyway i am stopping my cycle and starting pct next week. I had surgery on it the next day and all should be welll but it requires a lot of rest. it s very painfull and depressing but i am dealing with it. any advice doc said i can do lower body and cardio in a few weeks but no upper bodt for 3 mths! hard 2 type now with only my left hand

anybody had this to them
 
if you got it fixed that fast you will be ok:)


YES most injuries come outside the gym, its crazy


Habitat for Humanity is a great cause
 
Id say no upper body for 8 weeks is enough, then when you go back the first 2 months GO light and on arms go only 60%
 
Not a bicep, but I tore my soleus 90% and my gastroc 30% right in the beginning of summer. I just started back training about 3 weeks ago. Until then I limped around like Igor.

I am going to move this to the weight training forum so you can get more responses.
