A Dimel DL is bascially a half dl. Take the bar with a slight wider than usual conventional stance and a slightly wider than usual hand spacing. This lift is done very dynamically in the lowering and raising of the bar. You will have your hands on the bar at all times. But, you will almost drop the bar from the lockout position and catch it just below your knees and return to just shy of lockout. Keep all the tension on the posterior chain. You will focus on pushing your glutes to the rear and keeping a tight arch.
