different sized pecs?

Squat

New member
I have been training for about two years now, and my left pec is noticabley bigger than my right one. I don't have gyno or anything, they are both muscle and are ripped. I have tryed a variety of exercises( mostly try to stick to dumbbell) to even them up?

Any advice?

Thanks

I think that unless you're a competetive BBer, you're always going to be a little smaller on your weak side. I've never seen anyone with perfect symetry. My guess is that you're probably the only one who notices it so personally, I wouldn't worry about it. Plus it could be that they're simply different shapes as opposed to different sizes. And there's really nothing you can do about that.

If it really bothers you, I suppose you could try doing right-hand-only chest work for a while and see what happens.

even pro bodybuilders have uneven bodyparts....... from arnold down to ronnie coleman.

If it is an noticeable difference it might be due to your training routine. I mena if you use dumbells maybe one side is using the tricept more than another. My friend had this problem and he solved it by using Barbells only for about 3 months and he evened up. Some people have it genetic though.

When you say noticeably, is it you or are others noticing it? My right pec looks slightly different but if I ask my wife she tells me I'm nuts. Ask someone you trust before you change your training.

That's nothing to complain about. My problem is much worse. My whole left side is smaller than my right side. No kidding. Smaller biceps, triceps, forarms, pecs, thighs, and calves. ha! I even have a lazy left eye so it looks smaller than my right side eye! LOL:(

I have had the same experience. I notice that my left pec is bigger than my right yet my training partner thinks I'm crazy so......

Insane, I said insane, not crazy!

I'm a righty but it seems to me that my left pec is also bigger and more defined than my right one. I also feel that the bar lower differently on my left side compared to my right. As if my left arm is on a different angle. I dislocated my left shoulder once, never had it surgically repaired, yet t seems to grow faster than my right.

Same thing here with my right pec being smaller than my left pec. There is a little opposing difference in my arms. The right one is a little stronger, but I wouldn't say proportionally to the differences in my pec size. Strength, however, is not much different as far as I can tell with my pecs. I think my left one is larger because I drive a lot and I use that arm to steer. The pec is used more. Plus, growing up and playing a lot of football and other sports, throwing lefthanded probably contributed to something there too. Then again, maybe not.

Anyway, it's noticeable, but I don't worry. The girls still like 'em both. :D
