looking to see what you guys think of red meat and potatoes as a second PW meal while bulking? I have been hearing that fats arent always that good for post workout, but I truly feel that this is one of the best real food meal for Post PW meal. Last year I went with 1lb 96/4% fat and 2 baked potatos, anyone eat something similar?
 
I do...it's not consistent though, so I can't say what effect it had on me. I would NEVER include fat in my post-workout meal, but 2-3 hours after it's okay as long as it's not a huge amount.
 
I wouldn't, just because I always seperate fat/carbs. I don't want an insulin spike with fat present in the blood.
 
where do you find meat that is " 96/4% fat"

and i think when bulking that is a great meal.

And 1lb of meat for one meal is WAY too much. Thats almost 100g protein. Try and keep your two PW meals at a 2:1 ratio carbs to protein.
