Diet help & critique. Limited resources on deployment in OIF

Hello all just came across this board and find it very informative been reading posts from various sections of this site. Currently I am deployed in OIF and still wish to maintain my bodybuilding goals as much as possible. Right now im about 175 5'10 at about 12-14% bf so I wish to try and diet down and decrease my bodyfat ( lost a lot of muscle being out here without weights but now they have some and Im back in the game) I'm sort of limited on food choices so I have to make due with what I have until I receive some care packages in the mail which take a long time to get here. Currently here is how I am eating

Meal 1: 5 egg whites, 2 yolks, small bowl of all bran cereal with skimmed milk
Meal 2: Tuna on a wheat snack bread... it comes from a meal ready to eat.. its not exactly whole wheat but it is the best I can do.
Meal 3: Canned turkey with some maybe wheat thins or some baked beans
Meal 4: Protein Shake and some kind of nut... like almonds, pistachios for healthy fats (until i get some udos or flax in the mail)
Meal 5: Usually chicken breast or fish or steak and some veggies
Meal 6: Protein shake mixed w/ skimmed milk and some nuts or sometimes without the nuts.

I combine this with 3-4 days heavy lifting

it varies sometimes but very little. Roughly it is about 1700-1900 calories

I was also wondering if fruits while trying to cut down is bad like a bananna or some raisins?

Anyway I appreciate any help on the matter.

i would think stay at 1900 calories at least or else you are going to start going into starvation.......banannas and raisins are fruits that are higher up on the glycemic index scale so i would shy away from them if cutting, try to stay w/ fibrous fruits such as apples

Right skip the higi hi fruits. I would eat a food meal for meal #6, replace the protien shake with some meat. Anyway I'm not exactally certain what OIF stands for, I'm assuming it has something to do with being stationed somewhere by the military? What does your food selection/availability look like.

OIF stands for operation Iraqi freedom...

food choices arent to high... now they serve breakfast and dinner here... I have myself some tuna, canned turkey, and whey protein.. getting low on the turkey =\ hehe. I should have some more tuna and some efa's in the mail so ill have to wait for that to arrive.

so for choices in the morning its the same everyday

cereal... I eat the all bran cereal with skim milk
they have scrambled eggs, hard boiled eggs, potatoes, gravy, sometimes oatmeal most of the times grits and misc other junk food... usually here i get a scoop of scrambled eggs id say its about 2 eggs scrambled and then i get 3 hard boiled eggs and eat just the white... along with like i said a small bowl of all bran cereal with skimmed or low fat milk. Oatmeal when available
Dinner... sometimes some kind of meat like chicken or fish or steak,,, spaghetti with meat sometimes, salad, mashed potatos, burgers, hot dogs... not to much of a choice usually end up with whatever meat it is plus some veggies.

You diet seems very low in fat. You might want to eat those egg yolks.
