Diet Help! Bulking interrupted by injury!

Hey,

I was on the bulking diet - 3000 calories for on days, 2500 for off days - but injured my forarm and can't lift or box until NEXT Monday. I will continue to run near daily, but want to know how I should change my diet, caloric and component wise.

Otherwise, the Synpax Diet consisting of oats, dextrose, protein powder, and flax seed oil is going well. I'll post my revised version soon.

if you're going to be inactive for a week, i'd probably go on a maintainence diet. shoot for high protein. injuries suck, make sure you're 100% or damn near close before you lift again

Sorry to hear about your injury!! And right in a bulk too - that's the worst. I agree that a reduction in calories is definitely in order - since you won't be lifting hardcore.

Hope you heal fast!!

I would lower carb intake and lower caloric intake to 10% above BMR (weight x 12) until you fully recover and can train properly.
