For me, I just basically lower the total amount of daily calories I'm eating.... I am Endomorphic, so if I eat too many calories, I'll get fat.... That's why I decrease them..... When I decrease them, it is in the form of carbs for me..... It all depends on your body type I'd say....
When you come off a cycle, you goal is to stay in a positive nitrogen balance (high protein intake) and keep catabolism low (don't go into ketosis). Therefore, higher caloric intake with an increase in the proper carbohydrate intake, to control insulin levels, is most adequate.
