how can you measure 50 grams of dextrose? I get them in 400 gram packages just curious on how i can get an accurate measurement.

thanks guys

i have measuring spoons, with 1/3 cup , 1/4 etc. so i can fill up 1/3 and take some out and itll be about 50 grams?

anyone else have any ideas.

thanks for the replys guys, anyone else have any other ways, i mean theres like a million ppl who mention taking in 50grams of dextrose with so and so whey, so theres gotta be a way your all measuring it! heh.
riskybiz how much is 1 scoop of your whey?

I save all the scoopers from my protein powders and just use one of them, like if the protein scooper is 25g per serving i just use 2 scoops of the dextrose for 50g, etc..

really? all the scoopers i have look exactly the same but they differ in serving sizes by like 2 grams. like 28g, 30g servings. I guess 1 3/4 scoops would be around 50grams with a 30gram scopper.

The scooper will accurately measure the powder that was sold with the scooper. If use the scooper for another powder, like dextrose, the weight could be different from the weight of the serving size of the protein powder for one scoop of that protein powder that is listed on the protein powder label.

For example, 1/3 a cup of dextrose is 75 grams of dextrose, but 1/3 a cup of protein powder may only be 40 grams of protein powder. The same thing can happen with smaller amounts, in this case, scoops.

thats exactly what i was thinking, i found out 1 full teaspoon is 5 grams of dextrose. So 10 teaspoons = 50grams. Im gonna fill up a scooper with as many teaspoons as it takes which should be around 6-7 then use 3 more for 50. this way in the future ill just take a scoop of the dextrose then add in 3 more teaspoons, seems a bit faster then taking 10 proper teaspoons especially since i mix the shakes before i leave for school/work.

thanks
