wat are your opinions on designer protein by next nutrition as being one of the top quality proteins available? so far its been the best protein ive used. just want to get some in-put.
I was just going to post something about this. I did a search and it seems like everyone thinks all whey proteins have pretty much the same quality. I have to disagree. I have used Prolab's Pure Whey, which is the stuff in the 5lb bucket, and I was bloated from it and it never mixed well. I have a special mixer for my protein shakes and I would constantly get clumps of unmixed powder. Then I used EAS's Simply Protein, another 5lb bucket, and I the same exact thing happened as the Prolab Protein. I am now using Designer and I love it. Every last bit of it mixes and I have no clumps of protein powder. I do not feel bloated and for the first time I am seeing excellent results. Also, I am using less Designer Protein per day then I was of the other 5lb bucket proteins. I used to feel extremely sore after my workouts and it was very painful. Now, I work out harder and I get the soreness but it is a good soreness and my poundages are going up. I do not think that all whey protein supplements are of equal quality. I have heard that Isopure is the best but I am happy enough with Designer. Sorry for the long post.
I've used so amny types of proteins. Some taste good, most taste like crap. Designer imo is one of the better ones, but unless you use a blender it seems to clump a little bit. The best protein overall, taste, texture, etc.. would be isopure imo. Tastes great, mixes perfectly (hence the name isoPURE), and has glutamine in it already (not a lot though, so you still need to add a scoop of your own.
thanx for all the in-put guys. its true that not all companies put out quality protien....so ill be stickin with my designer with the same reasons dude has. but i also started using isopure couple months ago and i love it. so i use both. i just got designers new protien with "glyerLEAN" + 35 g of protien + zma. REALLY tasty and mixable.
Designer Protein has some glutamine in it as well. I would buy Isopure over Designer if I could afford it, but for now I will stick with my Designer which has given me good results.
