Decided to take the plunge. Setting up my first cycle.

Stats:

5'9
185 lbs
9% (or so) bf

Im sure a few of my photos are lying around somewhere on the board if anyone (no homo) is interested.

Cycle:

I decided to go with anavar only @ 60mg/ed for 6 weeks (20mg 3X daily). No, I dont have a problem with needles. For what I am looking to do (increase of 5-7 lbs with perhaps a 1% reduction in BF) based on my research I dont see any reason to jazz it up with stuff just for the sake of doing so. Considering what Ive been able to do naturally I think this may work out well.

I will continue what Im doing now and running Lipostim throughout the cycle as well.

I have Clomid for PCT.

Diet:

Approximately 2,500-2,700 calories per day.
240g protein.
80g fat. (90% of that from Muscle Milk shakes)
150g carbs.

Training:

Will continue using Matt Reynolds' DFT: Bodybuilding.com - Matt Reynolds - Dual Factor Training: How To Use Training Theory To Reach Your Physique & Performance Goals.


Ive seen a lot of people talking about doing anavar only cycles yet very people people talking about actual results from such cycles, so if anybody is interested Ill keep a log of my progress and probably include some photos as well if I get around to it. If anyone would actually follow this then let me know.
 
whats the best way to determine ur body fat and what is unhealthy anyways like 5 % or so

I know the "best" way is that underwater testing, but I go by calipers (I figure as long as you always use the same method you will be able to accurately gauge your progress).

Theres no reason to go anywhere below 6-7% IMO unless youre competing. It would be a bitch to maintain.

IMO you should eat just a little more protein. Other then that I know you have don your research bro. Good work and good luck.

Yeah Im trying my best to balance caloric intake with protein intake. Between the var and lipostim, I can only assume its going to be tough to eat the 2,500-2,700 calories Im shooting for.

Hopefully my appetite wont be supressed too much.

Oh, I should have also mentioned that I run two miles (at a 6 minute/mile pace) after each four workouts.
 
First, drop the Muscle Milk out of your diet completely.

Those are pure garbage.

Second, replace the missing fat with healthy fat. And of course, you are going to need more protein to make up for what was lost from the Muscle Milk that you kicked to the curb.

Legit anavar is excellent. You can easily attain your goals with an anavar cycle only.

1st cycle .. if u dont wanna bloat ..throw in some test prop man.. it will make a bigg difference
 
Gald you said it AAP! Muscle Milk, come on man, all this research on your gear and little on your nutrition. You should look into cycling your carbs as well. Go with Beverly International for your Supps.

Ill check it out. The trick is to find something I can handle, taste wise, 3 times a day.

I usually eat 4-5 meals with 1 shake PWO, 1 shake before bedtime, and one other during the middle of the day.
 
By the way, Ive decided to replace my muscle milk fetish with a combination of Big Blast from proteinfactory.com and Needto's Better Protein bars. This should cut the fat by 20g or so and keep carbs relatively unchanged.

And this shit better taste good or else Im coming back to kill the lot of ya. Im gonna miss my chocolate mint fix :( .
 
I never heard that Anavar will make you bloat?

lol sorry i should have explained that better !!

i mean u should throw in some test to make it a better cycle .. if the reason u aint using test is because u are scared of bloat ..test prop will cause very little or no bloat at al, unlike test e,c sust etc
 
I see what you mean.

I'm not using test just because I don't think it's necessary given what I'm looking to achieve. I'm hoping that var would be able to do the trick, and what I've read seems to suggest as much.

If I'm wrong then there's always next time :)

Mmmmmmmm, Chocolate mint!!!!!!!! Cookies n Cream!!!!!!!! Shit's like candy, too bad I had to drop it too!:drink2:

Prop plus Var would be PERFECT for you since it seems you want to be in an out fast on this cycle

little to no effect on the htpa and you'll get only lean, quality mass

i find primo to be a tad more than neutral on libido, it's nothing drastic but you definitely tell it's affecting something down there
