Deads 455x1, 475x1 (both with wraps - done 455 before without. new goal is 475 without)
315x10 no wraps

That is all that really bears mention - other crap was
barbell rows, 135,225
chins, bw,+45
One Arm cable rows 80x12 with slow negatives from 8 on.

Concentration curls with 30 for 3 sets of 10 reaching concentric failure in my left biceps at set 3 rep 6 (self spotted for 3 negatives)

some shrugs and a quick set of standing lat pulldowns

and I have a bad head cold - so there!
 
nah - your avatar is 'very nice' I wish I had a digital camera...

now my workout would have been nice if my 'gym' allowed chalk, at least I didn't get yelled at for the set of 10.

Spatts - out of curiosity what is your caloric intake and what is your conventional dead at?
 
Well, depends. I eat anywhere from 2000-3000 cals. Sometimes more, sometimes less. How's that for being damn near no answer at all?

I only conventional dead up into the 350ish pound range, then I swich to sumo for the sake of practice, since that's how I pull in competition.

why? I saw your comp vids and your form looked phenomenal.

Also we are really close in weight as well, and now that I see your caloric intake it makes me laugh.... that's the same as mine!!!

When I deadlifted today (conventional always) I actually pictured your form, in particular your back. I was very impressed with your lifts.

Shoulder Smith Maching Press
3 sets of 180 X 6 dropped last set to 90 pounds and ate the bar until my shoulders screamed
some lats, bent lats


Dips, bwx5, +45x5, +90x5, +115x4 - not too bad since I haven't done these in about 5 months. Left shoulder got uncomfortable after each set though... see how it feels next few days (this one of my current injuries, upon reflection - I'm stupid)

Some skull crushers

-and I still have head cold, it sucxors

Still not sticking to a workout as I have been spending too little time trying to make a new routine.

Incline DB Presses
65,65,115,100
Flyes

JM Presses - (first time trying these)

Overhead DB Tri Ext

Static holds overhand
315,315,315,275,225,135 - with varying hand widths

Side Rant:
person doing side bends with little weights stood in front of the dumbbells so for 4 minutes doing this exercise NON STOP - Right in front of my db's.
Consequently I had to jump from 65 to 115. This hurt my workout, burnt me right out.
Same person finally sits down on a nearby bench. I finish my set with the 100's, I'm tired and a little mad that I've burned my energy stupidly, I start walking toward the rack to put the weight away - SAME PERSON stands up RIGHT IN FRONT of me and starts doing one arm tricep extensions - the same exercise that they were doing SITTING ON THE BENCH A SECOND BEFORE.
I now hate this person.

I've been shortening my workout lengths and will continue to do so in the hopes that my energy and strength will come back up.

Today taught me that my 'golfers elbow' still hates barbell rows, they killed my arm.

barbell rows
135x3x7, 185x7 - really hurt and when I looked at my reflection I noticed I was leaning more towards the left (left should was pointing down forcing right up) Thoughts?

chins (sucked too)
bwx6,35x8,6,4 with 60-80 seconds rest between

one arm cable rows
90x12,90x10 (r/l)

concentration curls
25x10 r/l, 35x8 r/;, 35x6/8 with two negatives for lefty


Side note:
my triceps KILL, JM Presses are going to be here for a while.
my chest kills too though, but I did some triples on a machine that I think hit harder than I thought.

I'm a wuss.

I tried 'exploding' out of the bottom. really a different feeling and I accidently let a few go, but what can ya do? The 315 suffered from my form - see post -.

Had a dude tell me that heavy weights don't make calves grow. little discussion and he retracted that and replaced it with the salvation that is "What works for me, might not work for you..." - I respect that.

My energy levels are def UP. Shorter workouts are really helping. I really think that training for longer than 50 minutes might be too much for me.
