Deadlift PR!!! Triple Bodyweight!

I remember you...big man.

CCJ- been really busy training.

I left here, and went over to bodybuilding.com .. im actually a MOD over there no .. dunno how that happened.

Anyway, recently i've been really busy with my own site that i set up with a friend. Its growing steadily. It's A small site, and small forum ( 6700 posts, 196 members ), but people seem to like it.

I occasionally browse through here.

I kinda strayed away from the message boards for a while. and helped people online. I've got a small group of 8 people or so that i help out exclusively online and stuff.. so it takes up a lot of my time.

But recently, i've noticed these forums are a lot bigger than BB.com's and a bit more mature.... very little flaming, just good info goin around.

some big man, good to see you back.
u still lifting in the church....... either way you've definately been improving. so congradulations.

i was reading this thinking, "that sounds like that 15 year old kid that use to deadlift a lot on the powerlifting board."

yup he runs a great site...

this site is full of great guys so EVERYONE should go there and at least check it out

Nice work man, keep at it and records will fall. A little glute work should eliminate that sticky point at the top to.

DB - thanks. Im gonna start doing a lot of GHR, and reverse hypers. ( i built one my self.. full swining arm and stuff ).....

Do you think that rack pulls, and reverse band deads would also help with my lockout

Rack pulls start you off at a different angle than when your actually pulling I doubt they would help much, they never helped me. Zercher squats-reverse hypers-glute ham raises- very wide pulling or dragging will really help.

haha, thanks spatts.. been a while since we've chatted.

Right before NJ states, i switched to sumo and pulled a 385 like weeks out. I hadnt pulled sumo in like 6 months,m and when i did it was a 20 lb PR over my best ever.. so i stuck with it. I didnt progress much for a few months, and then i built a reverse hyper, and got a yukon GHR, and my lifts just jumped.

I Think that once i strengthen my lockout, i'll be up around 450 or so....
