Deadlift increases?

What is a good way to increase your deadlift? It seems that My deadlift is stuck around 225. I was doing 5x5 today on deadlift and just getting up to 210 was hard.

I tried that but it doesnt seem to be working. I always have problems locking out the weight not pulling it from the ground...

What does your deadlift assistance work look like? Are you seeing gain or losses there as well? Usually, your assistance work will point to the problem area.

I need a bit more info too. Like how long have you been training, and your age.

I guess I dont really do much stuff after I do deadlift. Nothing taxing atleast. And I'll definitely try to mix it up.

There is your answer right there. The DL is one movement, but to get stronger at it, you have to do things that help it get stronger besides just doing that.

I can help you if you can tell me at least where you are having problems in the lift. Is it the initial 8-10 inches, the mid point or the lockout? Any chance of seeing a video (from the side) of you lifting?

Its the lockout for sure getting it off the ground isnt a problem even with 210 its just locking it out. And no there would be no way for me to take a video.

High rep one arm dumbell rows helped my lockouts some, and alot of people on the internet claim they did also. Some glute activation work may help too. With the rows I let my form get kinda sloppy too and went as heavy as I could. I didnt use straps.
