  • 10 sets red bar-435-485-545-then 560 for a single pr.
  • Then speed dl singles 425-475-545-565-605-700(first in the gym for me)
  • A few sets on stomach and that was it, (pulled a groin muscle slightly last week)
 
damn, hows it feel doing sets with the red bar(ive havent used it yet, i bet it would be great for my arch.)

tonight heres what i did. i squatted off a 15.5 inch box.

6 sets of 2, 335x3 sets and 365x3 sets
supersetted with 6 singles of cutting my leg open on the damn wires that come out of the frickin mats :mad: :mad: :mad:

deadlifts against bands-(this is the exercise that will bring my deadlift up alot) 135x 5 singles back to back with the black mini's doubled or whatever the hell it was. this kicked my ass and made me look like a little pussy bitch. but it will teach me to squeeze my glutes harder at lockout so whatever it takes.


then i did some stading abs with the blue band for a few set

guess its time to lay low on the trash talkin to joe. ill let zech hit it hard for a few weeks.

i have also decided its time to drop a little weight, lou says ill be stronger if i drop some weight off. im gonna try to get down enough so i dont shut the scale off :D im prolly about 415 right now, so id like to be 375 or so for april.
 
Yeah I mentioned it looks like he lost a little weight, of course it was after the red bars so he didn't catch it right off. That red bar is the hardest f#ckin bar in the gym but it has already made me stronger, and you do have to watch out for the mats with the wire sticking out - they are a bitch. That scale is around 3 pounds light I think, found that out 2 days till weigh in so watch it.
 
Liftbig -- I just figured out who you are. I have a few pics of you from the ipa meet squatting if you want them. They are digital, so I can email them to you. I think I also a digital video clip of your last attempt.

BTW, WTF is a red bar???
 
The 'red bar' is a safety squat bar that lou 'modified' a hair to make it harder, it rounds you over if you want to or not when you go heavy, hits you upper back bigtime. My best is now 560, did it on my last set, compare that to a cambered bar gm with 725 and that shows how much harder it is.
 
DB -- ok, I have the same bar. I was just curious because I have never heard of a red bar.

LiftBig -- I will get them out tomorrow.
