Anyone see it? Too many commercials but otherwise pretty interesting.....

No mention of exercise tho which I thought was funny. It just goes to show (to me) that the low carb products are a marketing ploy. I agree that the gov't food pyramid needs a makeover.

It's unfortunate how much of the general population thinks that diet is all they need to be healthy. 120lbs doesn't equal healthy if you have no muscle tone or cardiovascular capacity. Sure you can drop weight and reduce BF on Atkins, but without regular exercise you're just a lighter out of shape person. I'm "technically" overweight for my age and height...but at about 5'9" 180 and 9% bodyfat I'd hardly say I'm out of shape or in any danger of having health problems...unless I yank my shoulder out deadlifting :D

Hehehe JoBu....everytime I see your name I think of Major League.....

But anyway......good point.....it's sad that the American public latches onto these "fad" diets with no research or education on their part......no wonder so many people are overweight/unhealthy

Yep...that's where it came from...

"Fuck you JoBu...I do it myself!"

One of my buddies back in college dubbed me one day and it has kind of stuck with certain people.

The diet is just part of the solution. But many people figure if they can go on Atkins or something and lose weight then why bother all the tough exercise
