damn this cottage cheese

alright, seriously.. who eats this crap.. these little curd deals look like something out a brain, and the taste.. ugh! If it wasn't for the 2tbsp ANPB I get to try and choke it down with I'd be pukin the stuff up. Don't suppose there's an equivalent yogurt or whatnot to substitute it with? Any ideas on if I can replace 1/2 cup of cottage cheese w/ anything that tastes like food? :)
 
actually I used to hate it but now it's ok.. same thing happened to me with milk.. and beer :)

unless you are eating the fat free kind?

eh, low fat, so I guess it could be worse. Maybe I'll just have to give it time. :chomp:
 
I can't stand the fat free stuff, its AWFUL, but the 1% stuff (I used to get light & lively 1% by danon (I think it was danon)) is good.
 
advice: if you consume dairy make it FAT FREE - if you need to know why, then don't listen to me, but dairy is crap especially with fats (1% or 2% or full range=all crap)!

if you need slow digesting protein get casein/casseinates or eat a steak and add some EFA's. If you need calcium steal calcium candy from mom (God be with you on such a heinous crime :o ) or buy calcium supplements or eat broccoli/spinach/other green leafy veggies :o
 
I like the "dry flake" or "pot style" cottage cheese as it's dryer than regular cottage cheese and not as "gooshy"
