Damn People Piss me off

Grrrrr......so I got this share in a ski house this year....so I meet one of the other members today & after saying "Hi" she starts in on me (we share a room - twin beds).....Bitching & moaning about my fan (I sleep with a fan running - the sound helps me sleep).

Anyway she's like (rudely) - This fan is going to be a problem. I couldnt' sleep last nite & I had a long hard week & after driving here I was very tired & I even slept in the other room & could still hear it. I just looked at her as she continued her rant & then she said that if she knew I'd have a fan that she'd never have bought into the ski house in the 1st place...... UGH!!

Way to get off on the right foot!! What a fucking bitch!! I'm now sitting in a WIFI area drinking beer cuz I don't want to go back......
 
sorry to hear that jen,just go out with her on the slopes one day,make it seem like your sorry she didnt sleep and push her off the lift

Fortunately (for me) she's only up on the weekends...... but still - IT'S A FREAKING FAN!! It's not like I have something really noisy going at 3am....

Anyway she got me back this morning (I slept in) by being noisy, turning on all the lights & opening the curtains. WTF??

When she complains, give her a choice - you masturbating very loudly and frequently throughout the night, or you having the fan on.

Kid Pisses In School Ice Machine

News Edition: 11/25/2005
CARLISLE, KY-- A Nicholas County High School student was suspended after he was accused of urinating in an ice machine that at least 31 people got ice from before the incident was reported.

Ben Buckler, chief of police for Nicholas County Schools, said another student dared the boy, who told officials he relieved himself in the ice machine in the gymnasium lobby just before physical education class Wednesday.

School law officials say charges will be filed, although officials were still trying to decide Thursday what to charge him with.

He was suspended for 10 days, pending an expulsion hearing.

Other students witnessed the incident, but it wasn't reported to Principal Doug Bechanan until Thursday morning. By the time the machine was taken out of service, some students and staff had taken ice from the machine.

School officials contacted the Department of Public Health in Frankfort.

"They said it was gross and morally wrong but not a health risk," Buckler said.

Health officials said urine is sterile because the body has its own filtering system. If any bacteria did make it through, the ice's temperature would have killed it.

But some students, parents and staff remained worried.

The Nicholas County School Board is picking up doctor bills "to ease the minds" of those who were exposed and want to be checked out anyway.

lol, I was just joking, its a drug that I studied during organic chemistry that they noticed workers making dynamite and tnt would lost a lot of weight.
The compound was 2, 4 dinitro-phenol. TNT is tri-nitro toluene. Just I remember studying it and they thought, hey, (around WW1, if I recall correctly).
Lets use this for weight loss, lacking an FDA protocol, alot of people died from it, mainly from overheating from overdosage.

DNP has the ability to have a person lose a pound of fat a day, at least half a pound per day if done correctly.
It works on stimulating the mitochondria which are the cells powerhouses.
So, taking this stuff makes your body burn energy that make ephedrine look like a piece of candy.
THe stuff really works and does kill people, a sure sign of its effectiveness lol.

A few years later after reading up a bunch about this. I remember Dan Duchaine bringing it up and its become popular in some circles. Its the strongest "fatburner" and you used to be able to pick it up as a pesticide or similar for pennies.
I was cracking up at the story and I remember a story of some guy who used DNP and said it was pure hell with multiple fans blowing on him trying to cool off at night.

People die and people get brain damaged from the overheating meaning its potent substance.


Im the same way as far as fans, same with babies, turn a vacuum on to quiet a baby, remember that commercial.

But, headphones or whatever would seem a solution so as to not invade her sleep and noise space. Just being considerate that not everyone responds to the fan or noise at night the same as you and this easily could be turned around saying, I can believe this, I pay this much and the woman I room has to have a fan at night and I cant sleep, Im so pissed.

Why have none of you pussies one told Jen to turn the mother fucking fan off, because she is disturbing her roommate?

I need a tv on to sleep well. However, I have been in situations where my need to sleep with the tv on disturbed others. So, I turned it off.
 
I hate to say it but fans sorta drive me nuts too. Sorry jens :( I can deal w/ the train that flies by my townhouse every 2 hours 24/7 but a constant low hum really drives me nuts.

I sleep with a fan on as well. It drowns out all other noises and the sound is soothing to me.

I know what you mean. I need the tv on to take my mind off all the things I have to do the next day. But, if my need to have the tv on is disturbing someone else.....I turn the fucking thing off.

You use a fan during winter? in a ski cabin? surrounded by snow?

that is a little odd, don't you think? Have an extra beer instead, that will make you sleep too
 
Ok ok ok - I have no problem NOT using the fan.....I told her I wouldn't use it while she's here.....it was the WAY she practically SCREAMED at me that bothered me, not having to not use the fan......I think she could have handled herself MUCH better instead of making herself look like an ass.....and during our "conversation" I told her that I wouldn't use it when she's around but apparantly in her pissiness, she didn't hear me & complained to the house manager about it..... :rolleyes:

And yes, I use a fan, in winter, surrounded by snow when it's 9 degrees F. I also sleep in a tank top & shorts......

And Pint - for the past few days - I have had extra beers or wine LOL

It sounds like she has a problem expressing herself properly. You must teach her how, it's simple.

Tie her up while she's sleeping and talk to her calmly. Explain to her what you do not like about her while you are skinning her alive. That should teach her how to properly express herself n the case she is reincarnated.

Well I wouldn't have had a problem with it if she had said (calmly) that "Hey the fan bothered me so I turned it off. Would you mind not using it while I'm here??"

She was setting the tone for the time she's around. She prolly figured better to make it clear up front she's not gonna put with your crap, rather than you gradually going over her boundaries. You need to do the same and set the tone for what you're going to put up with.

Recently, I gave a similar rant. Except, mine was about my sister's snoring being a problem and how I had the flu. She gave me a similar rant the next day, except it was about how my turning the heat off then on then off again (because I hot and then cold) bothered her & told me to put on a sweater.

Were we rude to each other? No. But, I can see how someone would think so.

if its not super loud or blowing ON her while she sleeps it should be no different then if the AC or heat was running (assuming its central forced air).

A skihouse is usually rented for the season & depending on the house - it can vary as to how many people can fit in it. Then you add utilities, plowing, wood, etc - divide all that + the rent by the # of people in the house & that's your seasonal cost. Some houses have rooms with 2 twin beds or 1 double bed or bunks.....Some houses have weekend only people, week day people only, every other weekend (this is a 1/2 share), etc.....

Then there are "rules" to the house - some have weird rules like no cooking until 9pm or only using the shower at night or even having a shower schedule.

My share is for 1/2 a room with 2 twin beds, 1/2 a dresser & 1/2 the closet. Plus a weekend fee that covers food for the house members on the weekends. We are located at a ski area in the New England area.
 
Sounds like she's trying to own you by going to the house manager and establish some 'hand'.
If I were you, Id ratchet up the passive-aggresiveness quite a bit to piss her off yet nothing that can be really bitched about and if she does it will make her look like the person with issues.
Itd be fun since she overreacted so much and since you could drive her off the deepend rather easily.
Like fart spray, leaving the seat up in the toilet, hair in the sink, start talking to yourself or better yet an inanimate object and carry on conversations, say like a really ugly doll. Then set the doll facing where itd stare at her when you are away. Lots of things that you could think of to drive her crazy, and just watch the meltdown
 
Well, I can sort of understand about the fan on in the ski house in 9 degree temperatures ... I have the house a grand total of 58 degrees and still open the window a few inches at night -- and I sleep raw, I just have a good comforter and sleep on top of a feather bed.

About noise ... I love my dear husband but he snores, softly, but nevertheless, just enough to keep me, a terribly light sleeper, awake. I have gotten used to sleeping with foam ear plugs, very good ones. It's gotten to the point that I have to put them in to sleep anymore. I wonder what would happen if the smoke detector went off though ...

Jens, my heart goes out to you ... I have to agree with your thread title, which is why my contact with the general population is limited almost exclusively to virtual :) Too bad you can't come up with your roommate in advance. Failing that, do white noise machines come with earplug features???
