Trying to find the nutrional value of this stuff so I can log it into my journal. What is the breakdown for a gram of dextrose? For instance, carbs, sugars, cals, whatever? Can't find this anywhere on the net.
correct, and if u want to find an example of a nutrition label just go to www.supplementdirect.com and click on "our products" then click on dextrose, also i would buy it there if i was you it is really cheap.
dammit, nobody around here sells dextrose/maltodextrin (GNC, VitaminWorld, other nutrition places). I'm too lazy and impatient to order online..... is their an alternative? It's just sugar, right? Honey? Brown sugar in the shake?
Try a natural food store instead of a supplement store like GNC. The kind of place thats sells healthy grocery type foods (like organic veggies). They are sure to have it.

you cant just use regular table sugar b/c that is half fructose, fructose restores liver glycogen not muscle glycogen which you dont need, honey is also half fructose and so damn hard to eat 2 tbsp of it only has 37 carbs, an alternative i have heard from al ot of ppl that most brewery places sell it so go there and ask, also corn starch or glucose is the same exact thing (i believe this is correct, any body else know that can certify this), so just ask for those some places if they dotn konw waht dextrose is (i heard they sell glucose at rite aids from doofy).
