Cycle for MMA/BJJ

New member
So i am 23 years of age.
I have been doing strenght training for 10 years
martial arts for 8 years and been doing sports all my life.
Ive always wanted to be natural, but thinking logically about it it gives you more job security juicing when you are going pro in a sport with very limited security. So my question is What cycle would you recomend only for less recovery time, more endurance and little bit added strength ? Id like to keep everything on the lower end and only cycle before competition in the preperation and when taking heavy training phases. I am just thinking month - 6 weeks of sustanon or test prop and maybe oxandrolone. Help much appriciated :)

also i cannot get any heavier.

Age: 23
Height: 177kg/6´9in
weight: 80kg/176lb

strength stats(if it matters):

deadlift 210kg/462lb
squat: 190kg/418lb
benchpress: 135kg/297lb

No prior cycles.

Thanks.

Wow power training since you were 13. (23-10=13) Sports all your life and martial arts too. Sound like my twin only difference is unfortunately i played around with AAS really young and i know shouldnt have.

Any way.. I ran test e while fighting BJJ muay thai boxing hapkido mma and more. I found that when i added eq and deca plus AI's ofcourse i had more strength to lift slam fight more rounds less joint pain faster recovery longer training hours and had more stamina which kept me going more rounds which has nothing to do with AAS but since i was injury free at the time i lasted longer.

Sustanon is the worst type of test imo based on my experience. I used to inject it everyday to make use of every ester in it. It really is confusing for AAS beginners and misleading and i dont recommend it. Do more reading.

Test prop is much better but you will get pip so try test e or test c if available. And yes it will help you get "heavier" im guessing muscle mass with training and a proper diet plus some water retention of course.

Keep us updated. Hope someone else can share their experience on here in respect to your query.

Ps. Strength stats are excellent for your weight height age and being natural (even though you're still young)👍🏽 all you need is a trt dose not more imo if you want to get bigger or "heavier" like you mentioned. Myostatin kicking in im guessing since you cant put on more size etc. If you were older 30+ more experienced in bodybuilding along AAS i would recommend Follistatin but right now a big no no! Stay away..

*And also your Height is 177cm not 177kg (typo).

Good luck

✌🏽

Thank you for a great answear some good information here and always nice to get from a well experience athlete.

Im sorry to have miss informed you, but i CAN´T get any heavier thats a big no no, im quite heavy for a welterweight sometimes even lightweight already.

I only want to use for faster recovery, more work hours in the gym and better stamina is a big plus too and added strength without mass gains. :)

Thanks also so much for the compliments, i appriciate them :)

Thanks and you're welcome bro.

Try the low test cycle stacked with low deca and as much eq as you want (in moderation 300-600mg per week). It helps..

Don't inderstand. You say you're heavy for a welterweight and sometimes fall into the lightweight category..?

Maybe it's different in your particular promotion but the accepted weight classes in MMA (at least in my circles...) tend to put middleweight above welterweight. At 80kg you should cut 3kg pre fight in order to weigh in.....

I'm currently making my way from welter to middleweight in two bursts, in order to have a fighting weight of around 83kg by Xmas. I'm doing two 4 week intense cycles, finishing one next week, and starting another at Xmas.

Prop is good if you're likely to be tested as its in, acts fast, and gets out fast. Short sharp and to the point in MMA.

I mean that sometimes i cut more weight even and go down to lightweight, When im not as well conditioned as now.

Would you use test prop for 6 weeks and then pct ?

If your muscle is virgin you'll have to put up with permanently dead legs. After a couple of weeks it subsides considerably.

I prefer prop due to its short time in the body, which I feel allows me more control over testing times.

PCT is one you gotta be careful of, as some drugs like nolva can be tested for a good month or so. I personally am doing a PCT, but I'm keeping it to ten days due to the short cycle and testing times. I'm gonna use a couple of legal test boosters through pct too...

It's all a big compromise of gains and risk.

I don't see an issue with 4 week prop only followed by a 10 day pct. The only suggestion I'd make is that if you go short, you go hard, unless you're intending on repeating it regularly and can therefore deal with slow steady gains.
