i was planning on trying yohimbine, but since cutting gel was available right at my GNA five minutes rom my house i decided to give it a whirl first. Applied it last night and this morning to my abs...no results yet but it's not even been 24 hrs.

thought I'd update on the cutting gel...Been 4 days since I started using it, am noticing a SLIGHT difference on the cellulite on the backs of my lower thighs, the skin seems smoother. Not noticing it on my abs or anywhere else yet, but I'll keep you people posted. Even the slightest change is enough to make me keep it up!

I'm not a woman, but I've used cutting gel - have some sitting right here on my desk, and my conclusion is that it is a whole lotta worthless for a whole lotta money.
if it does anything, it might remove some of the water right below the skin.
but it mainly just is messy and smelly. it is waxy and hard to get off your hands and gets into your clothes.
the two best fat burners I've used are dnp and cardio.
for me personally, clen and t3 don't do anything except make my hands twitch.

I've been using S.A.N. lipoburn (contains aminophylline, yohimbe HCL, usnic acid, and forskohlli/$29.95 for a 2 oz. jar) for the past 4 days, and I'm still waiting to see results. Has anyone had any success with this product? In theory, the ingredients are probably as good as one will find for fat loss products, but I'm curious whether this, or any other topical application will truly work.

1) Are you certain on this -- a couple of sites that sell it specifically say "Yohimbine HCl"?? If you are certain, how are you certain -- have you seen the label (I have not)
2) This one I am not certain about -- mitochondrial density is low in fat tissue, but in muscle, it is high. It might be advatageous to localize delivery to muscle vs. systemic delivery.

Ya'all know by now that I'm a conservative when it comes to non-pharmaceutical products. I wouldn't spend my money on anything that can't

And YES I am being harsh here because where I come from we're talking about BIG dollars with absolutely NO GUARANTEE that the product is even what they say it is, much less that it will do what they say it will do. Caveat Emptor means "if it sounds too good to be true it probably is" unless there is some very good evidence otherwise. These boards are (sadly) your safest bet so far because most of us have no vested interest in selling the goods. This means we can afford to be honest about results instead of marketing hype.

Thanks Mac for pointing out the discrepancy on the lipoburn label vs. what's in the ads - I had not noticed. Once I thought about it though, I simply popped open some 5mg. capsules of Yohimbine HCL (by Supplement Direct) and mixed it in since the lipoburn acts as a very good solvent. Guess what (surprise, surprise)? I've lost about 3/8 of an inch off my waist in less than one week without any changes in diet or exercise. I will continue using my Lipo "plus" mixture to if I make additional progress.

supplement direct uses a yohimbe extract- or at least so it appears- it is a higher quality one from reports, but still an extract. It may have 5mg YO per capsule. but it is kind of expensive- you are better off getting the powder- if you can find it- no binders or fillers just pure yohimbine hcl.

yohimbine hcl does not exist in nature- though I was thinking that in some extraction processes use hcl, yohimbine would be easily bound thus???? or perhaps I am just musing. Though it is odd that the test shows both yohimbine and yohimbine hcl content.
this is point that was recently brought up that companies claim to have an extraction process that yields a 95% yohimbine content. It seems that most of these companies are either in china or India- where spiking is a common activity. It is possible, looking at the data that this may be a spiked product- but once again I will add that the assay and chemicals tested for is odd- why not just test for yohimbine hcl?

Judging by the spec sheet, this is intended as a pure Yohimbine HCl product, not a strong extract.
The reason they indicate "yohimbine hcl" and "yohimbine" is that yohimbine is the active, the hcl doesn't really do anything other than make it water soluble. It is common to do this. For example, if you had a sulphate salt rather than a HCl salt, you would get much less active per total weight as the sulphate is a much larger molecule.
I have no idea on the extraction process possibly using HCl and getting it bound -- it is a common extraction technique, so maybe. But, then it would be a yohimbine HCl product by law, so why bother.

Biotest's MD6 is legitimate. The original formulation with 1R, 2S norephedrine (which is a synonym for the now-infamous PPA that has been branded "dangerous" by the FDA), caffeine and yohimbine HCL (NYC) works as well for fat loss as similar products such as Adipokinetix by Syntrax. As with all of the NYC products, a healthy diet and work-out program will optimize fat loss (but not necessarily over-all body weight-loss - which is a good thing if one is concerned with preserving lean muscle mass).
MD6 is a decent product. Norephedrine is an excellent appetite suppressant, not much of a true thermogenic in humans (but appetite suppression is responsible for 80-90% of the efficacy of thermogenics that work via norepinephrine) -- alpha 1 agonists have some other effects that will aid fat loss. They should have put larger amounts of the other ingredients, but wanted to keep side effects down while still being able to list them on the label. It is too expensive, because of the addition of ALA, which likely does nothing for fat loss.
Overall, good appetite suppressant (on par with EC), okay thermogenic (likely less than EC). Probably does not spare muscle as well as EC because it does not activate the beta receptors to as great an extent.
