What is my daily maintance caloric value??? I weigh 191, 5'11 - 12% BF....some people are telling me, BW x10, some BW x 15...which would be a huge difference if im cutting and need to cut cals by 500 per day...also, I was wondering what would happen if I was more than 500 less than my maintenance but at a very high amount of protein....would i drop fat and maintain muscle best this way?

thanks, but no idea about the daily maintenance??? and one more question...lets say for example my daily maintenance is 2000 cals...i want to drop fat while maintaining muscle, 500 cals off per day should be a good estimate on how to lose...so that would be 1500cals, is that how many i take in total for the day? or do i take in 1500 AFTTER cardio/lifting...so really like 2200 for the day minus the amount burned?
 
ok assuming you're 25 years old your Rmr rate is 1,876 calories.
Now assuming that you have an average healthy lifestyle, let's say you ahve an office job your total daily energy expendeture would be roughly 2908 calories.

The method i used to calculate that is actually very accurate even though it might seem alot. (Sometimes even when we eat 2500 calories we're preobably really getting 2900 anyway lol)
