Cut or continue bulking?

I've been training since the middle of May (5 months) and in the first 3 months put on 16lbs. I was 129lbs before, now I'm 145. I'm 5'6" so the change is noticable. I train 4 days a week very hard.

My dilemma is this - I realise the body responds to changes in cycles etc but I've just had around 4 weeks off training and lost 4lbs due to not training/being in India!..now I'm back I want to put it all back on with a vengence but I'm concerned about my new love handles/loss of six pack..do I carry on bulking now or cut?. I have a fast metabolism and have tried many times to gain weight. This is the first time its worked so I'm kind of excited and want to get bigger!!

Whadd'ya reckon? cut/bulk or continue bulking and do morning cardio or just more cardio with weights sessions?

Cheers

i suggest do what you feel will benefit for u the most,,,,,,,saying u were 128 ,u probably made good gains why stop now and cut and go back to 128 .......maybe bulk more gain more muscle if u notice gains,,,,,,,,but anyway its something u have to decide on:)

this sounds so much like my story it's not even funny. I started at the end of may at 128 lbs, 5'7", and now I'm 146 lbs. At the end of this month, i was seriously considering cutting because i did gain some fat. However, i decided it''s much better for me to bulk because a good cutting routine will make you lose alot of weight and drop you back to a low weight. I think mentally it's beetter to keep bulking because it shows you're not giving in at the first sign of no six pack (i mean, you will get it eventually if you keep working)

My decidsion is to keep bulking clean until i hit about 160 lbs and then cut. After losing fat, water, and some muscle, i will prolly become like 142 lbs after a month cutting, and then slowly gain it back (actually, the water i'l lgain instantly). still, as you can see this is a more natural process rather than just bulking and ten cutting back to your original weight, which might make you lose confidence.
