I'm wondering if they are really that ok for my diet & my cycle of WIN. I hate to JUST drink Water but if its Crystal Light Ice Tea I'll drink a few gallons of it a day so is that ok or am I hindering my weight loss goals???

It depends on your goals. If you're looking to get lean and have a healthy diet, I'd not recommend it. Artificial sugar will only make you crave sugar, in addition to slowing down the fat burning process. Besides, if you drink crystal light on a constant basis, you'll be adding all those chemicals to your system. Plain water is the best gift you can give your body. It will rid of toxics, will act as a natural diuretic and will clean your organs.

+1!!
I quit drinking CL October 31, 2008 along with coffee and it's amazing how much better I feel. Plain water with a squeeze of lemon is good too. However, I just drink it plain. LOVE IT!!

I love love love crystal light however I did notice the more I drank it the more I craved sweets. I have cut way back on it maybe 1-2 times a week. I drink at least 1 gallon of plain water and then the rest is chilled mint green tea or another chilled tea no sweetner added at all. Now if I could cut out the splenda in my morning cup of coffee I would be golden.

I'm not big on plain water either, but I drink good spring water (I do notice a difference in taste from filtered tap and spring water if its "real" spring water) and add a good splash of plain Perrier to mine (like a 3 or 4 to 1 ratio). The extra minerals and carbonation really perks it up.

I use some artificial sweetener (Stevia), but only occasionally and just a little then. Your taste buds really can get sort of numb to artificial sweeteners.

Bubbles bother my stomach.

I'm boring. LOL
:lmao: Between your stomach and my intestines we possess a virtually dysfunctional digestive tract! People don't ask me what I'm allergic to, they ask me what can I eat!

My husband doesn't like my drink, either, but for another reason. Apparently, I've succeeded in creating the impossible: "dry" tasting water

After reading old threads and posts on aspartame (and following links to outside sources listing possible side effects), I've really decided I need to cut it out of my diet. I'm sure I'll give stevia a try (in moderation), but I've been drinking diet drinks and crystal light WAY too much. I've quit in the past...but I always seem to go back to it. I guess I could have worse addictions...but I really don't want to do this to my body anymore. It's the caffeine withdrawls I'm worried about... :worried:

Any suggestions to help with quitting (especially diet coke)? I am pretty dependent on my morning caffeine, but I can't drink coffee...

"If it seems to good to be true it probably is" Case in point lol I had a feeling that the Crystal Ice has to go but I just can't stand to just drink Water but I'm gonna have to learn maybe I'll try it with natural lemon, lime or orange to flavor it a little Thanks for the posts
