crossy said:Luckly there was only 2 people right next to me on the other squat rack and he looked over and smiled at his m8, he then went on to do his 4" squats. Would have died if ripped really loud as the gym was full. Guess i will be getting some baggier bottoms![]()

. I have around 4-5 months to get lean which i havent been since about 18 years old, so this is gonna be hard work.I'm sure you'll do well, with your dedication.crossy said:Thanks bro
It does m8 i have pretty much hit every goal i aimed for when i started this log, which i am happy about. Maybe BF% is abit higher than i had hoped for. I am defo gonna miss the amount of food when i cut though i have become acustom to it. Well i went again yesterday and again struggled and nearlly thew up. Im guessing its the massive decrease in cals nearlly half. Im upping them (slightly) on training days for a few weeks then decrease gradually each week until im around 2000-22000.
Can already see a diffrence with bloat etc with not eating as much. Im actually looking forward to this cut![]()
Kabeetz said:cutting cals in half and then saying gradual don't go togetherTake your time with it, you'll retain more strength that way.
Dieting is like being in a shootout with your fat self, you can't use all your bullets too soon or you'll be in trouble.
crossy said:been a lazy bastard lately. Still havent managed to get my gym time in correctly due to other stuff. Losing weoght but still look very soft, havent done a friday workout in about 3 weeks, time to shape my arse up and get motivated. Next week new log, workouts on time and sort my diet.
Anyhow, hope you are doing well hun, i have not been around alot lately had alot of shit on, had my final written exam, passed that (not to happy with the % though, 70% is what i got). Thinking of taking up a part time (night school) nutrition course or something along those lines incase this carpenter shit dont work out.
Just my .02 here. This is critical for long term happiness. No matter what else you do in life, if you are unhappy at your main career, the rest of your life will suffer. Believe it.Kabeetz said:Look at it this way.. you needed some time to mentally recuperate and your body needed time to heal all those little aches and pains that have been creeping up. No big deal. Next week is a new week and one step closer to a new you, think positive.
As for the carpenter thing or the nutrition thing... I'm sure you are 110% capable of being as good a carpenter as there exists if you are determined to be that. One test doesn't mean shit. Just find what you love and get paid to do it.
I just got a 41 on my calculus midterm. I will not be getting my degree in quantum physics, I've officially decided![]()
crossy said:Thansk bro. My problem with regards with the gym is that i didnt expect such a drop in strength i have had to drop to week 3 of the last run, around 20lbs lighter than my previous best a few weeks before. My strength has depeleted alot and its been abit weird as its my first cut afte a bulk and dropping from around 205 squat to struggling with a 155lb squat its really frustrating, but as always im commited to wrkingths out and if it meens dropping my lifts then so be it, i have till summer to meet my goal july/august. I really think that not having a log on here as discouraged me somewhat so that will be sorted next week.
crossy said:There is more to it than that. I should have explained better.
Basically after my last week of bulk i went away for a break for 1 week. I came back and started cutting dropping my cals from 3500-4000 to around 2000-2400, you have to forgive my lack of knowledge in this department as i have only cut once and bulked once and then going back to a cut i thought i could do what i did the first time round, but obviously i should have had a few weeks maintenace cals rather than drop 2000 cals and expect to lift the same weight. This is basically where i am up to, i need to sort it by monday, supirsingly my weakest lifts have stayed roughly the same bench, rows my dead i managed ok yesterday (280lb ish) but i ate alot better during that day. I probably will go over to the diet section and see about eating high carbs on training days and a small amount of carbs on cardio/non training days and how this will affect my cutting etc......
