sorry guys, i know this is the training board..but i really only like sticking to one...what do you guys do with your cottage cheese? do you just it straight? or what do you mix with it? and when do you take it?

This is really my first go around with a big tub of it, so i'm not too sure...I've heard its best before bed...thanks for the help.

hmmm....maybe a good idea to grab for next time? any other good stuff? is it okay straight from the tub?

Straight from the tub is fine. Depends on how strict you're being with your saturated fat however. I believe traditional lowfat CC has about 1.5gr of sf per cup. Not a huge deal, but I stick to fat free anyway.

I have it for breakfast:

I take a large tub (4cups total I believe), and add:

4 packets of equal
1 can of unsweetened pineapple
1 tsp butter buds

Take half the CC out of your large tub, and put the excess in another tub or bowl. (I wash and save old tubs for this).

Put two packets of sweetener in each.

Put half tsp of butter buds in each (this will make fat free taste like regular, trust me)

Then add about 2 tbsp of pineapple juice from the can to each

Stir both completely.

Then stir in half a can of pineapple in each.

I can usually get three breakfasts out of this, eating a little over a cup each morning. And it tastes awesome!

Oh, one more thing....with the cottage cheese and butter buds, you are not going to set any low-sodium records here. If sodium is a concern for you, you might want to just skip the butter buds.

thats just gross Fatty...and to tell you the truth, some girls do have some serious cottage cheese issues
