Cooking mishaps.

Today while making a post-workout stirfry I was reaching for some chow mein noodles to throw into the mix.. Well, my hand accidently grazed a full half-liter glass bottle of olive oil sending it on a downward trajectory towards my counter.. It shatters, completely covering the left side of my body and half of my kitchen floor in olive oil and glass shards.

Arg.

When making spaghetti sauce, a bit of baking soda can help cut down on the acidity....well I added WAYYYYYYYYYY too much - bleh!!! :worried: awful tasting!

I am sorry to hear about your loss. Try to think of all the good times you and that olive oil had together. I know it is hard right now, but someday, and trust me on this, you will be walking in a grocery store and you will meet a new olive oil to replace the old one. Take your time to grieve and then move on. :)

By the way, you didn't ruin your stir fry did you? Also, I like to cook, so what was your ecipe for the stir fry?
