concerning the cops who were busted

I disagree bro. This debate can go on forever, but you have to look at the diffferance in clientel. I have sold a little of this and that. Let's just say the crack heads and heroin junkies, are a much more daqnger to society. You know that of course. I just can't see someone holding up a convienient store for sauce.

Hes confusing Illegal=Immoral they ARE NOT ONE IN THE SAME, so just because we use an illegal hormone (steroids) does NOT mean we are doing anything wrong - no it means we are doing something illegal. Just b/c we use on illegal substance (AS) does not mean its open season on any illegal substance (crack/heroin). Whole argument is based on a misconception.

it's seems to me that we may have a litle bit of a double standard. it's ok for these cops to juice on their own time (i completely agree) but numerous people said they should be cracking down on other drugs, like coke and crack. THINK ABOUT IT!!! if some cops wants to do some juice to get big, and you guys agree, why the fuck can't the "average joe" do a couple of lines on the weekend when he goes out and parties to get high? he's not hurting you! let them be. personal drug use is fine with me, let's just make sure that we see everything equal. if your drug of choice is juice, and someone else's is LSD, whatever. do your thing. i think there are other issues in the this country that need to be addressed, like child abuse and murder; serious fuckin crime, not some guy who wants to get big or get high. if you are not hurting anyone else, WHATEVER!!!

ONE

that is kind of an ignorant statement bro....you talk about cops cracking down on worse crimes...like murder ...child abuse.....where do you thing this comes from?.....almost every case has to do with drugs in some way.....look at the guy who robs a liquor store and kills the clerk, 9 times out of 10 he is some type of drug addict wanting money for a quick fix.....also look at the mother who lets her babies wear the same diaper for 3 days straight because she cant afford to buy anymore....because she spent all her welfare money on crack:freak:

Drugs do not cause crime. Society has imposed costs on the use of drugs. These costs have increased the retail price. Increased costs have resulted in crimes commited to obtain what should be a relatively cheap substance.

It is ridiculous to compare recreational drug use, even heroin or crack addiction to murder and child abuse.

Alcohol, a legal drug, results in more deaths, murders and crimes comitted against society than any other drug(take with grain of salt as this must be viewed in light of its wide spread use)-not because of the cost of the drug but the nature of the intoxication.

It is not the place of the government to regulate the individuals freedom to use drugs unless that use imposes harm upon society- in this case it is the regulation that causes the harm.

IamTHEman dont take this as a flame but YOU ARE A FUCKING RETARD  :doublefi: I dont think any one in here will put them selfs in the same boat as crack heads .

Bigpimp,

The loss of a family member is very painful, especially when they are senselessly murdered. However, your anger is, somewhat, misplaced. Crack did not kill them, it is easy to see how it may seem that way. However, in the bigger picture they were killed because the government cares more about control than it does the individual citizen. Crack cocaine is a very addictive drug. The government has made this very addictive drug, very expensive. The increased cost has led to increased crime, bolstered by the fact that those who merchant this illicit substance can reap huge profits- for which they will go to great lengths. Think of prohibition, this is really the same thing with the same effects- to a certain extent

This is really an oversimplification and does not take into account the social, educational, familial and economic factors that play important roles in drug addiction and how the individual deals with it and how they are dealt with by society (which varies quite a bit).

all in all, the point is that if drugs were cheap and legal the kind of senseless murder that pains you would not have happened. This is little consolation to you and those who have lost loved won in the war on drugs, a war that cannot be won and only brings more misery and loss of life as it progresses. Education, rehabilitation and social change are the only path that may one day lead to a society where so many do not feel that they have to escape from it, through the use of drugs.

I know what you mean bro....imho....to each his own. If someone wants to juice, well that's their perogative. I say let people do what the fuck they want to do in the privacy of their own home. The only thing I see wrong with any of it is when it involves publicity or the safety of someone else's life. Other than that, do what the hell you want to do!!!
