Naw, plunkey did #2 right on so many levels.
Like every marriage, it's an ongoing negotiation. IMO the trick is to make sure your topics of discussion aren't make-or-break issues.

Why in the world would I object to tits?
And any marriage is a negotiation. The trick is to be negotiating around the right issues.
If you're arguing around her not being a bitch 24/7 and you wanting ass more than once every two weeks, a failed negotiation means you're headed for divorce.
If you're arguing around dropping some X with her and that hot little barely-legal hostess at your favorite restaurant, then settling for something a little short of that is very livable.
But you have to bring up said topics if its a make or break issue. What else are you going to do, pretend it doesnt exist and not talk about it and work on it?

A lot of couples just avoid certain issues over time. They learn where the land mines in the relationship are and avoid them.
