Comp Diet---Steamed Chicken/Broccoli w Brown Rice & garlic sauce on side from Chinese Place?

shape

New member
this ok for comp diet--all steamed white meat-fresh broccoli--cup of brown rice and i use a spicy garlic sauce to dip broccoli in--they claim the garlic sauce has nothing fat in it---the garlic sauce makes the plain chic/broc bearable--i eat this one meal a day

How close out are you from a comp?? Usually take-out Chinese has a LOT of sodium in it and usually during comp. prep you eliminate most sauces, etc due to potential bloating...but it's all in how *your* body reacts to certain foods.....

14 weeks out--steamed with just water so sodium should be OK--the sauce im not sure--they say its OK--but they are not BB's and really dont understand

When it comes to comp diets....it is always better to make things yourself. You never know what they actually "add". Though you are 14 weeks out, you will probably be alright. But if you just started, depending on your starting bodyfat, you need to get the diet on the road if you know what I mean. The last thing you want to do is mis-time your diet, then have to struggle at the last few weeks, and maybe have to give up some muscle to make the show. This is the difference between a simple cutting diet and a comp diet. The comp diet has an end game on a certain date, will not wait for you to get ready for it. Trust me, been there....learning to time things is critical.
