Here's something to ponder....

Why is it your upper management always calls at the beginning of the week wanting to get involved in whatever is your latest project, there's a big flurry of emails to schedule the call, and then....

nothing.


They don't tell you why they want to sit in. They won't answer your emails with specific requests for a question list or an agenda. And by the way, you don't have anything to talk about anyway because the same people who want to get updates from you are the ones sitting on the stuff you are waiting to get approved so you can give an update.

I wish I had a brick wall in my office so I could ceremonially bash my head on it every morning before I sit down to work....
