CAMP LEJEUNE, North Carolina (AP) -- Fifty Marines got a special thanks for their service from the NFL's Cleveland Browns -- a free trip to Sunday's Super Bowl.

The Browns donated 50 tickets to Sunday's championship between the Philadelphia Eagles and New England Patriots for Marines who have served or will serve in Iraq or Afghanistan.

Some of the tickets that cost $500 and $600 each

Sweet!

What a great idea. The NFL itself would have done well to have a program like that in place, instead of handing out thousands of tickets to fat ass business men who were sitting safe at home.

Those guys deserve some special treatment
.

The real question is "WHY DO THE BROWNS HAVE SUPERBOWL TICKETS?"

;)

All teams get a number of tickets for the game. Contrary to their playing abilities the NFL considers the Browns to be a football team.

Maybe they can trade them for some players.
