CKD results so far

I've started my CKD diet. I used Mr. X's excel chart and inserted the weigh I want to achieve. I started on 6/6/03 and will run it for at least 4 months. Starting was 178. Yesterday (Monday 6/9) it was 176:D

This is what I have done so far:
Workout 3 days a week
Mon: Back and shoulders (3excersices each of 3 sets of 8 to 12 reps).
Tues: Chest and biceps
Wed: Legs and tri

Eating:
Eggs, bacon, susage, cheese, turkey & cheese rolls, turkey burgers with cheese no bread, steak, ribs, pepperoni, smokies, chicken.
To drink water. I had a minor headache on Friday and Saturday, but Maybe it was due to the adjustment of no carbs. I did not repeat.

I did cardio last Thursday, Friday and Saturday but I am not doing that for the next week just to see what happens. Also, I did not cycle carbs as I started on Friday. Depending on how I feel I might cycle some carbs next Sunday. I will post as much as possible.

Comments are welcomed.

Best of luck with the diet. You should have great results!

I think you're supposed to use your current weight on the sheet though. Haven't used the calc myself (do mine by hand), but that's just what I remember reading on an old thread.

Best 2 ya

I actually entered both, my current and what I want to achieve. Not much difference between the 2.

Hey Toozee:
Thanks for the comments. Are you in Texas? I am will be moving there in July, Dallas. It seems like a nice place. Moving there from Miami, FLA.

as far as i know - it is your CURRENT weight - and as time goes on - you recalculate according to your weight at the time

taken from MR. X's article on MM

ES, I can-------
Setting up a CKD (6days Ketosis/1day Carb-Up)
First-off, let’s figure out your BMR (basal-metabolic-rate). Take your weight and multiply it by 12=daily calorie intake without a deficit.
(100lb person) Example: 100lb x 12cal= 1200cal…1200cal=BMR
Everything I put forth will revolve in one way or another around your BMR, so listen up.
6/1 ratio (6 days in ketosis/1 day carb-up)
Figure out your BMR...(basal-metabolic-rate)=caloires needed to maintain current weight
weight x 12=BMR....(EXAMPLE: 100lb x 12=1200 cal a day)
Use the following fat/protein ratios w/ BMR deficit:
Ketosis:
Day:
1-> 85%fat/15%protein--BMR-5%
2-> 75%fat/25%protein--BMR-10%
3-> 65%fat/35%protein--BMR-15%
4-> 70%fat/30%protein--BMR
5-> 70%fat/30%protein--BMR-10%
6-> 65%fat/35%protein--BMR-15%
Carb-Up:
Day-7-> (CARB-UP) BMR+30%
