Citizens and Pilots REFUSING TO BOARD PLANES.....

with Arabs on them. According to the New York Times today, several American citizens have refused to get on planes when Arabs have been on them. One report even has a pilot refusing to fly a plane because some Arab men were on his plane.

This WAR IS BRINGING OUT THE WORST IN OUR NATION----non-tolerance.

whats wrong with that? people are scared for their lives, not to mention that you guys are pretty much at war with their homeland so i can see why people are extra paranoid. i'd probably board the plane if an arab was on it but i'd have my eye on him the whole time. no question.

I agree..I have an International flight at the end of the week and hell if my flight is going to be cancelled by some paranoid passenger who is scared of somebody wearing a turban or shawl or of a person who just 'looks' like a terrorist.

If I sit next to one of these Middle Eastern persons, I'll just ask them straight out if they're a terrorist or not...and if so, if they could please wait until the in-flight movie is over before commencing with the terrorism

I can also understand the fear since all the terrorists involved in last week's events were of Arab descent. But at the same time, if we profiled a race because one of its own commits a crime-----we would never stop profiling.....the whole world would be profiled.

Further, do you think that terrorists are looking to hijack American planes now? They know we are on alert. Instead, I bet they will result to other ways to terrorize us all....i.e. biological warfare.

its just human nature. everyones going to paranoid for a bit. its kind of like when you get in a huge car crash. you dont want to drive for the next little while cus your all freaked out, even though you know the odds of getting in another crash right away are pretty low.

Well, on that point, the Times also reported today that authorities think that considering how extensive Bin Laden's "Al Qeta" network is, they might actually have the capabilities of creating biological warfare, and know how to sucessfully carry it out.

BIOLOGICAL WARFARE scares the shit out of me. How the fuck to you prevent it? Seems very apocalypitic.
