Hm... well, I know that smoke will hinder your bloods ability to carry oxygen, which is needed for muscular performance. I also know that smoke will hurt your ability to perform under cardiovascular exercises because it will lower your ability to intake oxygen.
Not to mention how it will weaken your bones, joints and cells (skin and organs), and muscles -- because they won't get oxygen-rich blood... but rather the shitty smoke-enriched or oxygen depleated blood...
Furthermore, nicotine acts as an appetite suppressant, which means you won't be able to eat more... and you might not be able to eat enough calories to grow (unless you are talking about the KIND bud).
Aside from a training aspect of it, smoking will stain the teeth, foul the breath and make your hair all smokey so when you go to bed, you'll smell it. You'll alienate healthy people and draw unhealthy smokers to you... you'll become a nicotine freak and crave the shit like a feind.
Or... you could just not smoke.
