Chinese boxing

i'm not sure i just saw a place that advertised chinese boxing and thought it might be like muay thai or something

I am almost certain that it's just another alias for kung fu. Perhaps a kung fun instructor is teaching a less traditional form of the art and decided to market it as Chinese boxing. Regardless, it still has nothing on Muay Thai or regular boxing.

ummm, it is a traditional style (i.e. similar to wushu/kung fu), but i dont know too much about it

there are some variants of it (i think called natural boxing ut dont quote me on it) whih are dim-mak style death strikes (i saw somethng on here abou it before, it doesnt look v.practical)

there are other variants of it which are more hard style and combat based. i know they train hard as my club got bruise medicine from them so its definately not all soft style....go along and take a look:)

I know thats what Bruce called his "Gung-Fu" in that movie 'Dragon.' :)

I suppose it could be a generalization for the layman, like calling BJJ "Braziallian wrestling"
