Chest Workout - advice

What do think bout my new routine

2 sets cable x-overs - pre xhaust 10-15
2 sets incline db 6-10
2 sets flat db 6-10
2 sets decline db 6-10
2 sets flat db fly 10-15
 
IMO, most of exercises are a waste of time.

do 2-3 sets of incline dumbell BP and 2-3 sets of flats bench. Done and sorted :)

that's about all I do. Good results is strength and size.
 
This is a good Routine:

Incline Barbell Presses - 5 x 12,10,8,6,4
Parallel Dips - 2 x 6-8 (perform weighted)
Flat Bench Dumbbell Flyes 2 x 8-12 (use moderate weights)

This will hit every angle of the chest. Forget about cables and performing 5 or 6 chest movements. . . it is not necessary. Good luck!!
 
Wow you guys are low volume. I get in at least 12-16 sets for chest, and my chest is pretty good.

Workout A

Flat Bench 10, 10, 8
Incline Dumbells 10, 10, 10 heavier weight each time
Incline Hammer Strength 10, 10, 8 (heavy negatives on last set, friend leans on handles hard)
Dips with weight stack belt (40lbs) 15, 15, 10(70lbs)
Cable Crossovers 10, 10, 12

Workout B

Incline Bench 8, 10, 12
Flat Dumbells 8, 10, 12
Pec Deck 12, 12, 15
Dips 15, 15, 15, supersetted with Cable crossovers 10, 10, 10

Hit chest every 6 days, with triceps done 2 days after chest. BTW, bench went from 185 to 300 in one yr naturally.
 
heres my chest routine...

flat db bench - 3x8
incline db - 3x8
decline db - 3x8
flys

pretty simple, and it works well for me
 
this is what ive started doing

5x incline bench press
3x flat bench
3x crossovers
3x pec deck

only been doing it for 2 weeks
 
Give this a try:

Cycle 1 - 6 weeks

Bench Presses - 5 x 12*,10*,8,6,4
Incline DB Presses - 2 x 8-10
Flat Bench DB Flyes - 2 x 8-10

Cycle 2 - 6 weeks

Incline Barbell Presses - 5 x 12*,10*,8,6,4
Flat DB Presses - 2 x 8-10
Parallel Dips - 2 x 6-8

Cycle 3 - 6 weeks

Incline DB Presses - 4 x 12*,10*,8,6
Decline Barbell Presses - 2 x 8-10
Incline DB Flyes - 2 x 8-10

These are routines that I have followed in the past. Nine sets for chest is enough to stimulate growth.
