saturday is my competition, competing in 201-220 pound class

Bench
115x8
165x6
185x4
205x15 ( to failure ) PR for reps --- hope to put up at least 2 more on saturday

Pin Presses ( about 6 inches off chest )
135x5 ( index finger on smooth )
165x5
205x3
235x3 PR
255x0
255x1 ( pinky on ring ) PR
275x0
275x1 ( index on ring ) PR
300x1 ( 300 club baby- index on ring )
315x0 ( just barely got it off the pins, then dropped )

Incline Smith Benches
135x8
185x8
185x5
135x8 ( close grip )

i may have been able to do the 315 but the annoying trainer had me doing hammer strength deads 295x15 for 2 sets ( raw ) while doing pin presses, so it kinda tired me out

overall good feeling on the day, tomorow i do squats @ 245 to failure. I want at minnimum 20...
 
on a side note, i felt a little weak coming into todays lift, riding the lawn tractor all day beats you up a little. Im gonna try tostay off of it some tomorow. All lifts were raw, gonna be using a belt, knee wraps, gloves for bench, straps for deadlifts on staurday. SO i def feel i can get a few more reps on bench.

Nice! Looks like you have a good plan along with work ethic!:D

What's the deal with the trainer?
 
hes overly helpful, he likes to fuck with peoples workouts giving them advice. its not bad advice, its just at the wrong times. I try explaining to him what im doing and he doesnt listen. His ego is as big as his gut. ( he is strong tho, so dont think hes a fat slob )
 
louden - thx bro, you got a pretty dam good work ethic yourself. I cant wait to start hitting the buffets this winter =)
