Check my diet??

Currently @170 pounds at 6ft2 bulking.

Diet as follows:

Breakfast 7am 3egg whites 3whole eggs 4 slices whole meal bread

10.30 75gms chicken 3slices brown bread and two slices cheese

1.30 300gms brown rice with one chicken breast

3.30protein bar

4.30 same as 10.30

7.30 350gms sweet potatoes chopped and cooked with 3 tablespoons virgin olive oil and 3oz beef burger.

9.30 protein shake

Pretty much the same most days.
Roughly about 3500 calories
What do ye think??
 
Looks like it needs some work - don't get me wrong you need some carbs in there but i would still take it easy on bread (ezikiel is a nice alt) & cheese (cottage could work). I see no good vegetables what so ever.. And protein looks a little low. Clean bulk is the way to go.
 
i'd do the sweet potatoes earlier, well any mass carbs like that should be before ur workout or is ur workout after 730pm? being that late the 730pm meal should be veggies for carbs imo instead of the sw potatoes.
I would take some time and work out ur macros and see what percentages ur running. i'm curious right off what % is protein of the 3500 cals.
6-2 at 170 is pretty lean and u may want to increase 4000 cals.

Depends on what time I get back from work but that meal would normally be after half 7.
Using my fitness app it says

95gms fat 26%
387gms carbs 47%
241gms protein 27%

Normally have veg with lunch and last meal mainly a lot of broccoli.
Main reason for all the whole meal bread is its ease in making it all the night before as its the easy option for work.

Is there anything wrong with having all that bread?

How can my macros be worked out accurately?

Why not have carbs as my last meal?

4000calories seems a lot as I'm trying to gain a pound a week?

There's 240gms protein, is that not enough?
Sorry it would normally be broccoli but that couldn't be got in any supermarket for a like 3weeks.

Would that not be a clean bulk or where am I going wrong if it's not?
 
im 5'11 208 under 10%bf and I just started my bulk. its a clean bulk look over at my thread. Like everyone said at your height and weight you need to be eating A LOT more and clean foods with good complex carbs. at least 400g protein in my opinion for you. minimum and at least 400g carbs. im eating 5000 right now and plan on increasing in 3 weeks.

I'm trying to lean up but I'm currently 175 and 6 ft... Run,do other types of cardio, abs everyday. Lift 6 days a week.

25 grams whey iso made with egg whites
5 egg whites & 1 cup of oats
2 servings Greek 0% yogurt
2 chicken breast w/ spinach
4 turkey meatballs w/ spinach
6 egg whites & cup of oats
Shake & lean beef aminos (pre)
Isopure shake (post)
Seabass or white fish w/ spinach & two egg whites
Slow digesting protein shake
 
Basically ur body will have an easier time converting carbs into fat stores in the evening or the end of ur day. You need to have some as part of the muscle building process but I try and stick to lots green veggies. If I eat alot of starchy carbs or fruits before bed it'll go to my gut and love handles.

So just keep carbs to a minimum in the evenin stick to maybe a slice of salmon and a load of greens?
