Chains and bands!!! Have they helped you?

For those of you that added chains and bands, do you notice a significant strength increase? Meaning, is the money spent on it worth it?

Just to clear it up, you guys use these things to make a certain part of the movement harder for weak point training, right?

Yes...insanely they have helped me. Bands are awesome and the uses are endless!!!

i am training metal militia style for benching, so i have not used them (bands) as of late. however, when i used them for westside, i could definitely tell the difference

I have only used bands. Definitely think they have helped.

Plus like BFold said they have lots of uses. I use mine daily for active recovery exercises.

This past training cycle is the first one where I used bands consistenly on bench. I've already gotten a 25 pound PR, and I think the bands had a lot to do with that.

I'm going to add bands to squat in my next training cycle.

Do any of you guys that work out with chains/bands lift in a public gym or do you all mostly train at home? I've read a lot of praise on using them and was thinking of trying to incorporate them into my routine sometime in the future, my guess is my gym would have a cow over chains, but it would seem like bands might be do-able?

Any thoughts?
