Cardio???

Trying to bulk up, but wanna keep lean gains. Eating a clean diet but consuming 3k to 4k cals a day any ideas on how long ang and how often I need to do cardio??

Are you doing any cycle? 3k to 4k cals a day will make you very very fat and you won't gain more muscle.

You can only build 1 ounce of muscle a day and for that you need to add at much 250 calories a day to your mantenaince (Mantenaince that has to include what you expend working out of course).

If you want to bulk up and burn fat with cardio you must do a minimum of 45 minutes of cardio every day, do a low impact cardio so you can do it everyday without injuring your soft tissues, if you are going to run then do it every other day so your soft tissues have time to recover.

I did 2 hours of swiming first thing in the morning, every day for a week with empty stomach and then eat to gain muscle the rest of the day, I lost 8 pounds of fat that week.

You need to replenish your glycogen after that tho or you will lose some reps the next workout until you fill your muscles with it again.

Depends on the cardio you want to do, I would do the cardio on non workout days if it is a high impact one, if it is low impact there is nothing wrong with doing it everyday but I would do it on empty stomach so you don't have to do more cardio for burning carbs first, the key here is to not burn out yourself, for me swimming never burns me out but if I run I die after the 2nd session and can't do anymore of it for like 10 days, if you run I would do a minimum of 1 hour of cardio 2 to 3 times a week tops for keeping your fat gain low but what cuts the cake is the calorie consumption and the estrogen levels.

However I find losing fat very very easy so if I were you I wouldn't do any cardio while cycling and will only watch out my calorie intake and estrogen levels if fat gain is a concern.

Are you using Arimidex or Aromasin on cycle? If so, at what dose?
 
If you want to have lean gains with minimal to no fat gain, diet is going to be 90% of what dictates your results. Cardio can help burn fat, but you should primarily control things with your diet and not rely on the cardio
 
In also do cardio for at least 30 minutes daily. Cardio is the most effective and useful exercise for fitness so it is good to do cardio everyday.
