cardio stops muscle growth and then why do you see all these athletes (who play football etc.) who are huge, when most of their training would be cardio..
its probably a real stupid question, but pls clear it up for me
 
They are mostly focusing on sprints and short intesnse bursts of cardio. Look at the muscle definition Michael Johnson has and he is a sprinter. Look at the Kenyan long distance runners..... I think my problem with losing muscle when cutting and doing cardio is becasue my diet is lacking.....

omg a good answer, yeah that is pretty much right you will burn muscle is you do toooo much cardio, you will optimize fat loss with cardio if you dont overdo it, only losing a little muscle with this. but longterm it will definitely help in keeping fat levels down, with minimal muscle loss when not done, as if you werent doing it, you can still get big. plus, why do u think those people are in pro sports, they are genetic freaks, simple.
