Cardio. Should I do it?

I have been considering doing some cardio and was hoping to get some opinions from you guys. I have really not done any cardio since high football 5 years ago. So I really don't know how much I can do or if I should do any at all. I am not trying to cut. I just want to lose a little bit of body fat. The problem is that I still want to keep gaining size and I don't want to lose any strentgh. My question is, would it be safe for me to for example ride the bike for like 15 min, twice a week or should I just stick to keeping my diet cleaner. In the long run I value my strenght and size right now more then body fat levels, so if you guys don't think cardio is a good idea then I just won't do it. Thanks for your help.

Also incase you are wondering, right now I am 5'9", 218 about 14-18% bodyfat(I have never measured so this is a guess.)

I'm in the exact same boat as you. Don't want to lose any size/strength, but need to lose a little jiggle....

I have started a small cardio routine of just hitting the bikes 5 minutes a day after a workout, on a somewhat intense level(Level 7 or so). This gets my heart rate up enough to burn some calories, but the 5 minute periods help avoid burning away muscle. I'll try this for about a month and see how it does for me and get back to you. I think it may do the trick without any adverse effects to muscle/strength increases. It makes sense to me, keep things short and intense. You'll burn fat, but not kill yourself...
