cardio after weights

Hey guys , im cutting at the minute and was interested in your opinions on doing cardio after weights - not a massive amount just 20 minutes fast walk etc , is it gonna burn fat or will i be sacrificing muscle - i also do cardio a.m on empty stomach

When I was doing my contest prep, I would do an hour of cardio after my weight training, but I would have a shake in between sessions. There are a lot of different views on doing fasted cardio. My personal opinion is to leave it until the last couple of weeks before a show when you need to get rid of those couple extra pounds.

so at the minute(15%BF) i can get away with doing 40 minutes on the days i dont train with weights a.m or p.m

Apparently test levels drop after 30-45 mins of lifting. Accordingly I do my cardio in the morning (get that shit outta the way cuz I fucking hate it) and I lift at night

Not a bad idea. I think what it comes down to is what your schedule allows for. I personally would prefer to get everything done at once. I love to lift weights (who doesn't), but I hate doing cardio. Since I get excited about lifting weights, and I'm already there, I just bust out the cardio. I've tried splitting it up AM and PM, but it was quite hard for me to just go in and do cardio. Just my .02

if 20 min of cardio burns your muscle you need to eat more.

on a empty stomach in the morning you could sacrifice muscle....your body is gonna look to your muscle for energy .....after weight training is ok and you shouldnt sacrifice muscle... its just you wont have the most effective cardio session after weights....this is generaly speaking ofcourse
