Hi, I start my carb-up tommorow. Its been 2 weeks now since ive had any real does of carbs. Anyways, ive decided to go with a 24hr carb-up phase as I see no need for a 48 and I have quite a big of gut to lose
Ok as far as the depletion workout goes i am unsure what circuit style is? Does this mean I do 4 sets of say 12reps per muscle group, then 3rd set same, 2nd set same, and then last set same? Or am i doing all sets for same muscle group at 1 time like a regular lifting day. Sorry if this is a dumb question or has been posted before.
Also next was wondering for my first carb-up if the following foods are allowed
Pancakes w/ honey or syrup
Subway footlong sub on white bread with mayo and subsauce and tons of veggies and maybe a cookie or something afterwards.
Pizza, hot dogs, milk (2%)
Im not positive how to do this carb-up as I see many different people eating different things, the jist i am getting is that I should eat a lot of carbs, modrate protein, and low fat in say a 60:30:10 ratio?
Can I eat these kinds of food like coffee with sugar, and donuts, and etc etc. Or should I be eating healthier foods like oatmeal and whitebread etc... I also plan on gettin smashed tommorow night on my carb-up night so there will be plently of carbs from mixed drinks and the such.
Oh also should i stick to diet pops or can i drink regular and sweetened ice tea and the such.
What sugars should i stay away from? I hear fructose is a bad one? and Sucrose? Im not sure thanks for the help!!!!
