My mother suffers from anemia due to a couple of stomach surgeries and such,and goes thru periods of it pretty chronically. On Nov 10,2002 she had a blood test done after feeling tired and winded and was found to be so low in blood count the doctor admitted her and gave her 3 units of blood. he then,as usual put her on Feosol caps 3times a day to 'get her back to normal'. She has a really hard time with the feosol,it seems to be very hard on her ystem and as a result the results from it are very poor. Her initial blood test after the transfusion was Hemoglobin 9.0,RBC 29. after no real increase there I pushed her into ordering Carao,not a big problem after letting her read some of Sof'a posts and the website(was gonna refuse after she opened the bottle and caught a whiff 
) She asked for another blood test on Dec 5,2002 so she would know if the Carao had any effect. On 12/5/02,her Hemoglobin was 9.8,RBC 31.....slight increase for spending almost a month constantly sick to her stomach from the heavy dose of iron caps. She started the Carao on 12/5 when she got home and dropped the Feosol to 1 cap per day.
For dosage,shes 5ft,about 125lbs and 56yo and took a tablespoon/day everyday. Shes not real athletic except for walking and eats a basic diet. After about 2wks of complaining about the smell she kept saying how much better she felt,being winded wasn't a prob etc and her color looked better...she had another blood test on 1/20/03 and these were her results: Hemoglobin 12.3,RBC 37......doctor was just as happy as i was. Here it is in a nutshell:
12/5/02 Hem-9.8,RBC 31
1/20/03 Hem-12.3,RBC 37
I have other numbers to both tests,just was most concerned about those 2,thats why i postedthem......this officially makes me a believer,or i should say more of a believer than i was at first
